10 - 2019 Mardeco secures the NZ agency for Groël Door Handles

Groël is a Spanish company established 20 years ago. The company specializes in hot forged solid brass door handles and pull handles produced in their state of the art factory in Italy using the latest production methods and robot techniques. Mardeco secured the sole agency for the NZ market earlier this year. A selection of the range is available from stock October 2019. We will be selling the Groël range through our NZ reseller network

Majority of the range on offer comes in a PVD finish called Inox Tech. (a special durable coating) PVD is a super-hard coating that is by far the most durable coating available today. Superior quality that will outlast any traditional finish.

Groël handles will stand the test of time with 10-year mechanical warranties, 15-year chrome and satin guarantees, and a lifetime guarantee for Inox Tech finishes.

Mardeco stocks a selection of the Groël range however the full range of Groël door handles is available and can be ordered in from Spain. (T&C's apply). Please download the complete Groël catalogue

22-04-2020 COVID -19 alert level 3
This week, the Government confirmed that New Zealand will go to Alert Level 3 at 11.59 pm on Monday, 27 April 2020. For businesses, the main message is to continue operating remotely where possible. Businesses that offer services that involve face-to-face contact or sustained close contact must remain closed during Alert Level 3.

Mardeco can open under Alert Level 3 if we can operate safely and follow industry restrictions. We have completed a return to work plan for Level 3 conditions. This plan aims to ensure business continuity and staff safety while under pandemic conditions.

  • We will have all staff working, either from home or at our premises in Stanmore Bay. We have set up all workplaces in such a way that we can minimise contact & maintain safe distancing
  • Our Showroom and Office will remain closed for visitors
  • All orders can be processed as per usual. You can phone, fax or email them through to us
  • Orders will need to be sent to us by 3.30 pm the day prior. Given the current Level 3 situation, our courier and transport company cannot guarantee an overnight service
  • Where possible all orders will be dispatched via courier. If there is a need for customer pick-up this will need to be arranged prior at an agreed time. The order can be collected from a clearly marked bin at our upper warehouse 16C David Sidwell Place, Stanmore Bay

Thank you in advance for your understanding and your continued support. We will keep communicating with you and updating you accordingly as this situation evolves.

Please remain safe & keep well!

12-2020 Shipping Delays:
Please note that due to significant delays at the Ports of Auckland in recent weeks some of the items we have on back order have further been delayed. The difference between the ETA (arrival of the vessel) versus the ETB (estimated time of berthing), in some cases the wait is three weeks. Where possible we will advise of any significant delays to your back order, we apologies for any inconvenience.Space for both air & ocean freight continues to be extremely tight, and equipment issues also have a big part to play in what are very challenging times in shipping.
